egregious Medicaid planning.

Commenting that the recent federal district court decision in New York State Bar Association
(NYSBA) v. Reno (97-CV-1768) (declaring unconstitutional the criminalization of assistance with Medicaid planning) "essentially puts us back to square one in dealing with this problem," Grassley declares that "the next Congress has no other choice than to again take on the matter. The Aging Committee has played an important role in national debates, and it is possible that the Committee will take up this issue."
